Permanent Cover Supervisor required to join expanding Cover Team

32.5 hours, Term time plus 5 training days

08:15 – 15:15 (Monday to Friday) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Scale 5 – FTE £24,496 (actual salary £18,455pa)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our established, dynamic and friendly Cover Team. The role of the Cover Team is to supplement teaching staff and to cover short-term absences across this large and successful school. This post would a fantastic opportunity for those looking to step on a pathway to a teaching career and looking to gain classroom/teaching experience. Equally this position would suit HLTA support staff considering a move from classroom support to whole class supervision. We are looking for adaptable and initiative-taking individuals who can contribute to raising standards by providing support to teaching departments and the whole school.

The successful applicants will be required to cover across lesson times during the school day or provide administrative support as directed by the line manager.

This is a permanent post (starting date negotiable for the successful candidate).
