Our school is part of the Ted Wragg Trust, an ambitious and inclusive Trust of schools whose mission is to transform lives and strengthen our communities to make the world a better place

To succeed we believe that we must grow great leaders, have the highest standards and be relentlessly positive in our collaboration. We live by the values of being ambitious, selfless and collaborative.

Here at West Exe, we wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable individual to join our thriving cover team, supporting teaching and learning across all areas of the School. You will supervise whole classes across the curriculum areas of the school during short-term absence of teachers, responding to questions and generally assisting pupils in undertaking set activities. With your support, students, regardless of their social or cultural background, will be motivated to succeed and be supported to maximise their learning and progress. You will also be a member of our tutor team, supporting young people, both celebrating their successes and supporting them with the challenges that they face, from the day they arrive at West Exe until the day they leave. We can offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and passionate school, alongside dedicated and hardworking individuals.

If you are able to meet the requirements of this role, we would love to hear from you. For an informal conversation to find out more about the role, or to visit us, please contact Maggie Robinson, Business Administration Co-ordinator recruitment@westexe.devon.sch.uk

The Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and operate in accordance with the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. All applicants will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service check before an appointment is confirmed. This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

The Trust is committed to ensuring that our employees are able to achieve their full potential in an environment offering dignity, respect and equality of opportunity.
