Barnhill Community High School is a high-performing, Leading Edge school in West London. Our 2018 academic outcomes place us well within the top 10% of the country, with a progress 8 score of +0.66. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated colleague to lead the school’s Business and Enterprise Curriculum Area.

The Business and Enterprise Curriculum Area is one of the largest in the school. It is highly popular as an options subject at Key Stages 4 and 5. There are 5 or 6 classes in each of years 9, 10 and 11, with students studying a mixture of Business Studies GCSE, Business and Enterprise BTec and the IfS Financial Studies course. At Key Stage 5 students study A Levels in Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, BTec Applied Business and Financial Studies.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Curriculum Leader with good leadership skills, high quality teaching and learning and the commitment to help take the Business Curriculum Area to the next level.

This school part of the Middlesex Learning Partnership, which is at an exciting time in its development. The Trust has a strong shared sense of community and a real commitment to making a difference to the lives of young people.
