We are a successful Multi-Academy Trust with a friendly atmosphere. Guilsborough Academy is within 5 minutes reach of M1/M6/A14. We offer an outstanding professional development entitlement and superb resources.

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic Curriculum Support Assistant to join our Team. You will be working within a successful and friendly department alongside teachers in lessons, supporting small groups and occasionally whole classes and providing ‘cover’ for absent staff. You will benefit from strong support from the Director of Science as well as appropriate training. As part of the role, you will also be meeting with individual students to mentor them. This is an excellent experience for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching and provides the opportunity to develop subject expertise in Science. This is a permanent position, 32.5 hours per week over 5 days, for 39 weeks per year.

Considerate and responsible attitudes and behaviour are fostered through a strong personal and social education programme.

We work hard to enhance the links with our feeder schools. This ensures the progression to secondary school is successful and happy for both students and parents/carers. An extensive transition programme supports this process.
