King’s College London Mathematics School (KCLMS) is for highly motivated students aged 16-19 with a particular aptitude and enthusiasm for mathematics. 

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled administrator to undertake a key role in the maintenance and analysis of all school data, to manage the school’s internal and external examination procedures, and to provide administrative leadership and support for all the school’s outreach activities.

This post represents an interesting opportunity for a graduate of any analytical subject to bring their skills to a highly motivated group of staff and students at a school where the effective and intelligent use of data is highly valued and is one of the key reasons for our outstanding success. It will be of interest both to those who work in the data management or examinations office of a school and wish to take on more responsibility, and to recent graduates looking for a challenging and stimulating role in a high expectations and high achieving environment. 

The key responsibilities of the post are:

· To keep the school’s management information systems accurate and up to date;

· To conduct analysis of management data and information, setting up, maintaining and reviewing complex data;

· To run the internal and external examination systems of the school efficiently and effectively;

· To provide a thorough and robust administrative and analytical function to the admissions team;

· To work as a key part of the outreach team, in particular providing administration, organisation and communications for all outreach activities and events.

About King's College London Mathematics School

King’s College London Mathematics School is a state school for students aged 16-19 with a particular aptitude and enthusiasm for mathematics. It was opened in September 2014 by King’s College London in response to the government’s programme to improve the supply of good mathematicians, engineers, physicists and computer scientists into our best universities, and aims to provide challenging and stimulating teaching by outstanding teachers, especially for students who would otherwise not have access to this quality of teaching. The school is committed to developing well-rounded young people and engages students in a rich extended curriculum that enables their personal development alongside their academic development.

King’s College London Mathematics School’s has 140 students split between year 12 and year 13. There is a selective admissions procedure involving a mathematics aptitude assessment as well as an interview. The process favours candidates for whom the school is likely to make the greatest impact on their futures. The school is based in Lambeth, within walking distance of Lambeth North and Waterloo stations.
