Job overview

We are looking for a deputy head teacher to join Central Primary (ideally in April, but for the right candidate a September start would be considered) as our current deputy is leaving to become a headteacher. We are looking for someone to work with our head teacher to continue the development of the school. We can offer the successful candidate rich and engaging development in a school filled with enthusiasm and desire to continually improve. We would like to recruit the best possible candidate for this role and would consider candidates who can work full or part time (ideally we would like at least 0.8). The welcome pack and personal specification will give you more information about Central and the deputy head teacher role and we warmly invite you to visit the school as part of the application process.

Closing date: 31/01/2019 12:00:00

Interview date: 11th Feb 2019

Central Primary is a happy, interesting and rewarding place to work. We have two Speech & Language Bases and approximately 400 children on roll. Our school is currently expanding from 1Fe to 2Fe. The school is in the centre of Watford with good transport links and serves an ethnically diverse community. We are committed to safeguarding children therefore this post will require a full DBS police and medical check. Visits are warmly recommended. Please apply on line.
