Trinity Academy Halifax is the outstanding flagship school in the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust and the lead school in the Trinity Teaching School Alliance.  In 2019 the academy was awarded the World Class Schools quality mark.

Our record-breaking GCSE results are evidence of the high academic achievements of our students, and are viewed as the pinnacle of the school’s success.  Our Progress 8 scores place us consistently in the top 5% of all schools nationally (+0.59 in 2018 and +0.61 in 2019). 

We are currently looking for a dynamic, passionate and inspirational Deputy SENCo, who under the leadership of the SENCo and trust Inclusion team will support the work of the SENCo.  This is a role for an experienced practitioner looking to develop their career in leading improvements in outcomes for identified cohorts of students.

Trinity Academy Halifax is the founding academy of Trinity Multi Academy Trust. It opened in 2010 and since that time has secured two Ofsted 'outstanding' judgements as well as being designated as a National Support School, a National Teaching School (leading the Trinity Institute of Education) and a Maths Hubs of Excellence (leading West Yorkshire Maths Hub).  In 2019 we were awarded the World Class Schools quality mark.

In 2012 the academy moved into a new building; the fantastic, state of the art facilities enable the academy to provide a world-class learning environment to nurture potential and prepare students for life.

Trinity Academy Halifax is consistently the highest performing school in Calderdale and its GCSE results have placed the school in the top 5% of similar schools nationally.
