We seek to employ an experienced and enthusiastic Director of Maths to lead the Maths department and teach Maths at all levels.

It is an exciting time to join NEW Academy. Our newly appointed Principal, Julia Flavin, comes from Ormiston’s outstanding Chadwick Academy and her vision is to make Ormiston NEW Academy the outstanding school the students and community deserve.

You will be a key middle leader working within a well-resourced, Maths department, with practitioners keen to share best practice and continue moving forward.  We work collaboratively with other Ormiston Academies, both locally and nationally. To ensure we are at the leading edge of the latest developments in the subject, able to deliver the highest quality professional development and provide progression opportunities within the Trust. We have a strong commitment to further developing you as a teacher and ensure staff feel supported through access to the academy’s CPD programme. We place a high value on staff development, both in teaching and leadership. We acknowledge the importance of staff well-being by offer a number of staff activities and benefit packages.
