Job overview
The Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operational support activities of the Trust’s sites, managing the estates, advising the Headteachers on Health and Safety compliance and monitoring all support contracts. They will be identifying and implementing strategic opportunities to take the schools forward as a Business including lettings, buildings and IT development. They would project-manage new building developments or oversee this if an external project manager were appropriate to the project. They will manage the Compliance Function with respect to Health and Safety, Data Protection and Policy management. They will be a member of the SWBGS Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the CFO who will lead on the overall Financial Management of the Trust and individual academies.

Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school in the attractive Thames-side town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Founded in 1624 and still based on the original site, we are proud of our heritage as we approach our 400th birthday and excited to be inspiring and empowering the aspirations of our students today.
