Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a successful, over-subscribed and expanding school?   Thomas Tallis is a flourishing and popular school situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. In 2011 it moved to a new £52m building with state of the art facilities and infrastructure.  There are currently 1850 pupils on the school role and the intake is fully comprehensive from Years 7 to 13, with over 500 students in the thriving 6th Form.  At Thomas Tallis we aim to provide young people with an ‘education to understand the world and change it for the better’.  We strive for excellence in all that we do underpinned by our four core values of creativity, community, engagement and challenge.

The candidate must be able to support Deaf students in the mainstream class; ensuring lesson content is accessible to Deaf learners. This role will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision for students within the DSC provision. This is a great opportunity to join a school that is building on its already successful results and reputation, and is committed to becoming an outstanding school and centre of excellence. The new building and facilities only add to the excitement and energy already at the school. All candidates will be subject to full Safer Recruitment procedures as laid down by the DfE.
