Job overview

About the role:  We are looking for Exam Invigilators to join our existing team to assist with the administration of all internal and public examinations.  This is a very important role and you will be a highly valued member of the examinations team. You should be reliable, punctual, flexible, with an air of authority and a genuine interest in helping our students of all ages to achieve their best by maintaining a calm orderly atmosphere in examinations, and at all times complying with regulations. 

We have multiple vacancies and interviews will be conducted when we return from the half-term break, week commencing 5th November 2018.  The successful candidates will then join us as soon as all clearances and checks have been completed.  

Duties will include:

  • To administer exams in accordance with the regulations
  • To ensure confidentiality of exam papers before, during and after an exam
  • To help create the best environment for candidates to achieve to their full potential.

What are we looking for in you?:  To be successful you need to passionate about books and reading and ideally have some experience working in a library environment. Most importantly you will have a strong drive to encourage students to read and be able to work with them to improve their literacy levels.
