We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team at Reddish Hall School, Stockport to be responsible for the provision of a safe, secure, well presented environment to our children and young people, staff, parents and other stakeholders.
Reddish Hall Is a is a Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School within the Acorn Care and Education and NFA Group, the second largest private sector provider of special needs education in the country operating 19 schools for children and young people who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism.
About the role
Line Manager: Headteacher and Health & Safety Coordinator
Responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of the school. Be able to prepare and implement risk assessments and any recommendations and procedures. Contribute to school development projects and general maintenance schedules. Be sympathetic to environmental concerns regarding all aspects of the school and grounds. Needs to be a hands on individual who can develop and implement systems and procedures and maintain current ones.

About Reddish Hall School
Reddish Hall School is a co-educational school catering for pupils aged 5-18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour- all of our young people have an Education Health Care Plan. The school accepts pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, though they may face additional challenges and diagnoses including ADHD, Asperger’s, SpLD, MLD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome or a variety of other conditions. Additionally, many of our pupils have serious social issues and very difficult home lives resulting in complex emotional difficulties.
All pupils attending Reddish Hall School have individual needs that have proved too complex to be addressed within a mainstream setting. The school provides effective support and a suitably differentiated curriculum, enabling them to progress and succeed to the best of their ability.
