We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Geography teacher to join our highly motivated and hardworking Humanities team. You should be an excellent classroom practitioner and have students at the heart of your decision making. You must also have good knowledge of the Geography curriculum, the recent national changes that have taken place and have the knowledge and experience to teaching Geography across a five year curriculum. We are looking for somebody who is creative and dynamic in the classroom and is able to engage a wide range of students.
This role is suitable for both NQTs, who would benefit from a comprehensive range of support and guidance, and more experienced teachers alike.
There is also potential for a TLR 2b Subject Leader Geography for the right candidate (£4,532pa).
Our team has been on an exciting journey over the past three years, with Geography GCSE results increasing to 78.2% (Grades 4-9) last year. We are driven to continue to improve these results over the coming years with the new GCSE specification.
Student numbers at GCSE level have increased year on year leading to an expansion of the team.
