Job overview

We are searching fora person that can: 


• Collaborate with the school community and with families in the detection and support of special educational needs.

• Inform the educational community about the special needs of the students and prepare psycho-pedagogical reports for each case, maintaining an effective communication with teachers, tutors and families.

• Collaborate with the school community and with families in the detection and support of special educational needs.

• Familiarity with the psycho-pedagogical procedures included in current legislation: diagnosis, opinion, methodological adaptations, curricula, etc.

• Offer tools to both teachers and the Center to carry out the plan of attention to diversity and curricular adaptation.

• Advise students, teachers and families to improve educational quality and interpersonal relationships.

• Support and workshops to prevent bullying and cyberbullying, food problems, use of psychoactive substances, etc. and promotion of healthy decisions on relevant issues for each stage. These tasks are combined with workshops offered by collaborating personnel external to the Center.

• Prepare, together with the tutors, a professional orientation program that advises on the academic possibilities and options on the educational and professional future, designing personalized itineraries for each student.

• Collaborate with tutors and give workshops to improve personal and social skills and prepare for employment.

• Provide talks and workshops for parent education.

• Collaborate in teacher training in orientation and psychopedagogy.

• Give personal attention and in small groups to students who need these services.


Good references will be asked for, as well as experience in educational sector and high level of both English and Spanish (bilingual)

 Agora International School is a private all-through school in Madrid, Spain. The school is a member of the the NACE Schools group. Artistic expression is encouraged here, with students taught to play an instrument by the end of the Primary phase, and taught dance classes by Víctor Ullate Roche. While a bilingual school, English is integrated into all the curriculum and life at Agora International. Agora International School Madrid is authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB). Sporting facilities here include mini-tennis, volleyball, mini-basketball and tennis courts. 

Agora International School offers excellent co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities to students.
