Head of Drama

Spring Term 2019 (start date 3 January 2019) 

An enthusiastic and dynamic teacher is required to lead the IPS Drama Department.  The successful candidate will lead a lively department and should be able to teach A Level Drama and be an accomplished actor/Director who can take advantage of our wonderful new Theatre and Studio Theatre opened in December 2015.  We are looking for applicants who are able to combine a creative and intellectually rigorous approach to the subject with an obvious enthusiasm for encouraging a breadth of dramatic expression and who have the ability to convey this dramatic interest across the range of ages in the School.    

All members of staff have a pastoral role within the School and are required to participate in its co-curricular programme, thus enabling them to share their skills and expertise in areas not covered within curriculum time.
