About St James Senior Boys' School

St James Senior Boys' School is a thriving educational establishment in Ashford, Surrey. The school occupies a magnificent Victorian/Gothic building set in 32 acres of grounds, giving us the physical space to continue to pursue our excellence in art, drama, music and sport. It also allows popular extra-curricular activities, such as Cadets, Duke of Edinbugh Award Scheme, sailing club, archery, fencing and kayaking, to flourish even more.

The school aims to give the children the very best examples in human endeavour and creativity, to provide good company and individual care, to maintain an ethos in which truth, honesty and virtue are valued, and to insist on fine conduct for the service of all. At the heart of this educational response is the belief that the emotional development of the child is crucial and to this end singing is core discipline.
