Montcrest School invites applications for the position of Head of School.

Overlooking Riverdale Park in the Broadview and Danforth area of Toronto, Montcrest School is a co-educational, elementary day school with 320 students enrolled in JK – Grade 8. The School offers an exceptional academic experience, with balanced opportunities in leadership, the arts, and athletics. An emphasis is placed on character development and community service, and the challenging core curriculum is taught in a structured and nurturing environment where students receive individual attention and excellent instruction in small classes. Montcrest aspires to be recognized as the leading elementary school in Canada, excelling at nurturing and supporting the uniqueness of each child.

The Head of School is accountable to the Board of Governors, and has overall responsibility for the academic and administrative leadership of the School. The new Head of School will be a respected educational leader, with the ability to provide inspiration, support, and leadership to the entire community. They will have significant administrative experience earned in a school environment, and a passion for the education of children in the junior grades. Above all, the new Head will be a person of character, strong values, and the warmth and authenticity that allows them to connect with all members of the Montcrest community.
