The British School Warsaw is a highly successful, growing school with a committed and inspirational team of teaching professionals at its heart.  In Primary we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum. In Secondary we follow the English National Curriculum in Key Stage 3, IGCSEs at Key Stage 4 and the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 & 13. As a non-selective school, we are proud that our students go on to some of the world’s top universities.

Examinations in 2018 saw our students achieving:

  • An average IB Diploma point score of 35
  • 52% A*/A at IGCSE

About the role:

We are looking for a suitably qualified, committed and experienced PE teacher to join a successful Department. As a teacher in the PE Department at The British School Warsaw, the successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of this subject across the Secondary School including IGCSE & IBDP. You will have an enthusiastic approach to teaching your subject and the ability to inspire your students and other members of your department so they can deliver a high standard of teaching.

About you:

As a qualified teacher, you will be a fluent English speaker and have experience of delivering the British curriculum. You will be committed to developing personalised approaches to learning and experienced in the latest assessment methods. You will be an excellent communicator, who works in partnership with colleagues, students and parents to create a learning environment that delivers educational excellence. You will be keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum and will be an effective professional with outstanding subject knowledge and experience of teaching.  Experience of teaching IGCSE and/or IBDP Sports Exercise & Health Science would be an advantage
