Ealing Fields High School is a member of the Twyford Trust family of schools.  Relations between staff and students are extremely positive and it is easy for every member of the school to be well known by all of the staff. Staff joining at this time are likely to have a highly motivated drive towards building an outstanding school community within an already highly successful Trust.

The Head of Year 9 will be fully committed to ensuring all students in the year group are supported by effective pastoral systems to enable them to develop robust learning disciplines and make outstanding academic progress within the wider context of their full personal, social and spiritual development. You will also ensure all new tutors are inducted into the school ethos and systems, and will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the drive to manage a team committed to achieving outstanding results for all students irrespective of ability. You will be enthused by the prospect of maintaining a student learning culture within the Year group which is both engaging and aspirational.

This is an exciting role for enthusiastic teachers as we prepare our students for GCSE and beyond (the school’s first GCSEs will be in 2021). About Ealing Fields High School

Ealing Fields High School was opened as a Free School in 2016, and became part of the Twyford CE Academies Trust on 1stSeptember 2017. Ealing Fields is the smallest of the Trust schools, with only 150 in each Year Group and therefore has a very compact community identity. The staff community is very positive, highly motivated and fully engaged in professional development. The school moved to its brand-new permanent sitein Northfields in September 2020 and achieved a Progress 8 score of +1.34 with its first set of public examinations in 2022 which reflects our relentless commitment to providing the best possible education for all students.

The Twyford Church of England Academies Trust (TCEAT) is a compact CoE MAT which comprises four schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The Trust was established in October 2011 to enable an existing School, Twyford CE High School, to build on its successes and look outward to the large number of parents who were eager to become part of its community. Over a 10 year period it launched three new schools Ealing Fields, William Perkin and Ada Lovelace all of which have achieved progress outcomes ranking them in the top 1% of schools nationally, making TCEAT the highest attaining Trust in the UK. TCEAT aims to deliver outstanding education in a comprehensive school setting and embraces the Twyford School motto ‘Life in all its fullness’, encouraging students to use their individual gifts wisely and well. Supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS), the TCEAT operates on collaborative principles with some central services to achieve consistency of provision. The Trust has a highly evolved common curriculum from Yr 7 –Yr 13 which has been devised by staff within the four schools and we have a thriving 6th form co-ordinated across 3 of the school sites. The Trust is also the hub of Teach West London and prides itself on high quality, peer-led CPD within a dynamic culture of self-improvement.
