WHY CONSIDER LOUGHBOROUGH C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL

Loughborough C of E Primary School transferred from maintained school status to become a stand-alone academy in June 2014. We are a Good school and Outstanding in our latest SIAMS inspection. We believe strongly in developing the whole child, providing a happy and safe environment in which our pupils can learn, grow, develop and support each other.

WE ARE SEEKING A HEADTEACHER WHO:

  • Has strong and ambitious leadership to motivate the school community to develop and progress standards whilst recognizing the foundations already in place.

  • Is a proven people manager, able to achieve innovative solutions when required to achieve the best outcomes for the school and its pupils.
  • Is a leader who is keen to work with colleagues in an established local collaborative partnership.
  • Has proven ability to identify areas of improvement and be able to implement strategies to ensure that all pupils make as much progress as they can.
  • Can maintain and develop the strong Christian values and ethos within the school.
  • Recognizes the school’s position within the wider community and is able to communicate our vision to it and all stakeholders.
  • Is visible and accessible, and able to engage positively with our large and diverse parent/family community.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Staff who are excellent at what they do, totally committed to the school and its pupils and keen to continue to drive the school forward.
  • A skilled senior management team, ready to work with you to achieve the best possible outcomes for the school and its pupils.
  • Confident and happy children who enjoy their time in school and the learning experience we bring to them.

We would strongly recommend that you arrange to come and have a look around our school before submitting an application for the post, and this can be arranged by contacting our Headteacher, Mrs Wendy Wakefield.
