Salary: the school is currently officially a Group 5 school, however the number of students has risen this academic year, meaning that we will qualify as a Group 6 school from September 2019. Salary will be negotiable depending on experience. 

Regents Park Community College is a “Good” school which is striving towards becoming an outstanding school. Due to our Headteacher moving on to another challenge, we are looking to recruit an outstanding individual to lead our highly popular school to continue to raise standards and to lead the school to the next level.  Regents Park is an over- subscribed mixed 11-16 school in the heart of Shirley, Southampton, currently placed in the top three schools in Hampshire and Southampton for the outstanding academic progress that we achieve. 

The school is one of the oldest in Southampton steeped in history and over 100 years old. Regents Park has celebrated another year of fantastic exam results.

Progress 8 score +0.36

4th consecutive year of positive progress scores well above national average.
This shows we make excellent progress across the whole curriculum 

English +0.54

 Students achieve over half a grade higher in English than the national average 

Maths +0.17

 Students achieve better in maths than in the national average 

40% Grade 5 or above in English and maths
6% improvement on 2107 results and 4% above local authority average
