History is currently the most popular option chosen by our students at GCSE. We believe that learning does not solely occur in the classroom and have organised many successful trips overseas to support our GCSE teaching but also to bring History to life.

Cardinal Wiseman is an 11-18 school in the north-east of Coventry which is on a journey of improvement. The school’s GCSE results in summer 2017 history had a pass rate of 80% A*-C and at A-Level we achieved 100% A*-B. This posts is instrumental in driving improvement in the school to enable even more students to achieve their full potential. If you are a dynamic, passionate and motivated teacher of history who is focused on helping students achieve their true potential, we would welcome your application.
