Job overview
As a forward-looking and innovative school we are seeking to appoint an HLTA with a Maths specialism to join our Curriculum Support Team. The posts will involve working in our Maths Department with a range of students from across the secondary age range who may have Special Educational Needs. Training and support will be given by our expert and friendly team.
Usual working weeks: 39 weeks
Usual hours of work: 30 hours per week
This is a term time only position

We would like to hear from you if:
- Have HLTA status or are prepared to undertake HLTA training
- Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant
- Have a passion for Maths
- Have at least grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Demonstrate a proactive approach within lessons
- Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
- Are able to work 1:1 and in small groups
- Support children of all needs and abilities by providing stimulating and differentiated work, settings tasks and goals that are achievable
- Have a commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils achieve their potential.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work closely with teachers to develop schemes of work and working environments that everyone can prosper in
