We are looking for housekeepers to join our team. Collegiate is a thriving and happy co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 to 18, located in Stapleton, Bristol. The School occupies a glorious thirty acre campus and has all of it's facilities on-site.

The hourly rate is £9.80 per hour. Other benefits include uniform, free parking on site, a defined contribution pension scheme and 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank/public holidays each year, on a pro-rata basis for part-time hours.

We have part-time housekeeper opportunities with working hours between 6am and 12pm, Monday to Friday, both term time only and all year round.

What you'll be doing:

  • General cleaning and housekeeping of all areas of the school, including any spills, allocated communal areas and bathrooms
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and mopping of floors, corridors and rooms
  • Working independently in an allocated area and as part of a team of housekeepers
  • Maintaining the highest level of cleanliness throughout the school on a daily basis
  • Ensuring cleaning materials are safely stored
  • Assisting with the laundry
  • Stocking of the linen cupboards 
  • Ensuring health and safety issues are reported

  • Physical fitness to meet demands of the role

At Collegiate we have approximately 800 pupils, with our Preparatory School accommodating pupils from Nursery to Year 6, and the Senior School accommodating students from Year 7 up to our Sixth Form.
