Job overview

Lancing College is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active HR Officer to work with the HR Manager in the delivery of a full HR service. The role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in all aspects of HR work including employee relation issues, sick absence monitoring, performance management and compliance.

This part time role will initially be for a one year fixed term.   Applicants will be CIPD qualified and will have experience of HR administration, employee relations and have a good understanding of employment law.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-motivated person and able to work within a small team environment but also able to work independently, with a highly organised and methodical approach to work. The successful applicant will have excellent IT and time management skills and strong administration, telephone and interpersonal skills.
