Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced instructor to work within our outstanding Construction team at our Huntingdon campus.  

This exciting role will see the post holder working with our learners in various practical settings to develop their skills.   

The Role will involve Technician duties along with the Instructor activities.     This role will be focussed predominantly on wood trades activities and potentially Brick area, applicants will need to have relevant qualifications in this area. Additional trade based skills would also be advantageous and beneficial.   

 We are seeking an individual who is prepared to work flexible as part of a team for the overall benefit of our learners. This post is crucial to the development of practical skills and the post holder will be expected play a pro-active part in the further shaping and development of our Construction Crafts area.

Cambridge Regional College is a co-educational further education college located in Cambridge. Providing places to students aged 14 and over, the college has several thousand learners young and old, full and part-time. Cambridge Regional College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation over the years, and as such can boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, with the most recent major development, which opened in 2011, providing the college with a brand new Low Carbon Centre. The college also plays host to a number of vocational teaching workshops and study areas.
