Acer Trust is a growing multi-academy trust comprising Wood Green School, Matthew Arnold School, Chalgrove Community Primary School and Icknield Community College. All four schools have strong track records of high performance and share similar values.

Following a recent review of IT support services, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced IT Systems Manager to work with the Acer Trust IT team, schools’ Leadership Teams and staff to design, maintain and deliver safe, effective IT systems.

Within the Trust’s wider IT Strategy, you will work with the Trust’s IT Services Manager to review and provide IT support services at Matthew Arnold and Wood Green Schools. You will be responsible for managing effective and efficient IT support to the schools’ staff and pupils.

We are looking for someone with proven experience both supporting complex IT systems and people management.  With good planning and organisational skills you will have the ability to communicate with staff and students at all levels and be able to analyse the impact of IT services and issues.
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (29 days annual leave p.a.)

Wood Green School is a mixed, comprehensive, secondary school with sixth form situated in Witney, Oxfordshire. It is an academy converter operating under The Acer Trust, which was co-founded by four Oxfordshire schools: Wood Green School, Chalgrove Primary School, Icknield Community College and Matthew Arnold School. 

Wood Green School provides 1,335 places for students between the ages of 11 and 18 when fully subscribed. It converted to academy status in February 2017.
