Job overview
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative teacher with a passion for Maths to join a highly motivated and supportive department within a successful school. You should be capable of working independently as well as leading a team of talented teachers together with the Head of Maths.

About The Thomas Aveling School
The Thomas Aveling School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Rochester, Kent. It is an academy converter supported by a multi-academy trust called Fort Pitt Thomas Aveling Academies Trust, which supports four other schools around the country. The school will provide 1,080 places for secondary and sixth-form students between the ages of 11 and 18 when fully subscribed.
Previously a Technology College and Training School, Thomas Aveling converted to an academy in September 2011.
