Details: This is an excellent opportunity for a successful candidate to join a highly effective team at the Garden school which has two sites, one in Stoke Newington for children aged 4 to 14 years which is purpose built with modern facilities and a recently refurbished school site in Clapton for Key Stage 4 and post 16 students.

 

This person will be responsible for promoting parental partnership and involvement in children’s learning and the life of the school.

Our ideal candidate will have:

·        an understanding of autism and learning difficulties

·        experience of enabling greater engagement of parents with school and related services

·        the ability to develop effective links with a wide range of stakeholders; children, parents, governors, and the full range of outside agencies who work closely with the school

·        successful experience of working in a multi-disciplinary work environment, attending meetings and contributing written and oral reports

·        the ability to deal with sensitive, confidential issues and manage complex and challenging case work

·        excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

·        the ability to complete reports in a timely fashion

·        the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload

·        the ability to manage relevant staff and delegate appropriately
