Job overview
We wish to appoint a Lead Teacher of Music with the ability to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Music across all ability ranges, from September 2019. The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and instilling students with a love for Music and a desire to learn.
The school has a very talented student Gospel Choir and offers individual music lessons to students.
Prendergast Vale School is a small all-through school providing high quality education from nursery to Year 11 that aims to transform the lives of all the children who attend the school. By keeping the school small, we have created a community of pupils and teachers where no pupil is left behind, which has enabled us to create an environment in which pupils want to learn, achieve and behave well.

• evidence of outstanding teaching across all Key Stages;

• a desire to work in partnership with others sharing good practice and experiences.

We are committed to providing excellent CPD for Middle Leaders and offer the accredited National Award for Middle Leaders (NPQML) to all Middle Leaders. We offer a comprehensive and supportive induction programme for all new members of staff. You will also have access to a rich and varied CPD programme within the school and across the Federation.
