Job overview

Denton Community College is a ‘Good’ state of the art, purpose built College to encourage achievement and success.  We are a rapidly improving and popular school and had our most recent Ofsted inspection in October 2015 and we were judged as being ‘Good’. 

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational Lead Teacher of Science to teach the subject over KS3 and KS4. This is an exciting time for our college and we welcome applications from dynamic practitioners.


The ideal candidate will:

About Denton Community College

Located in the town of Denton, Greater Manchester, Denton Community College is a co-educational secondary school with places for around 1,350 pupils aged 11-16. It was founded in 2010 after the merger of two local schools, Egerton Park Arts College and Two Trees Sports College.

In 2012, having previously been spread across two sites, the school opened a brand-new purpose-built site.
