About the role:

The role will be based in the Engineering Department in the Centre for Applied Sciences on our Angel campus. We are looking to appoint a full-time permanent Engineering Lecturer to teach on level 3 BTEC courses and act as a course tutor as required by the Curriculum Leader for Engineering.

The main duties will include teaching and assessing BTEC Engineering subjects (e.g. Further Maths, Engineering Drawing (AutoCAD), Fluid Mechanics, Primary Forming, Health and Safety) up to Level 3.

About you:

You will hold an Honours Degree in an Engineering related subject with demonstrable experience of teaching engineering qualifications. You will also hold, or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards, and keeping high quality documentation.
