As a leading West Midlands Further Education College, we are excited to share that we have multiple full and part-time fixed-term and permanent opportunities within one of our largest vocational areas of provision; Health and Social Care. You will have access to fantastic resources and facilities such as our Simulation Room and become part of a great existing team who are committed to supporting every student to achieve their potential.

This role will allow you to deliver exciting and interactive teaching, learning and assessment whilst ensuring we provide an outstanding experience for all learners.

Our curriculum delivery is successfully expanding to include apprenticeships and a range of exciting T-Levels and short courses. We also have a range of effective and innovative employer links across the West Midlands, including Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust and are a partner in the development of the new Midlands super hospital planned for Smethwick.

You will already have a recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above or be willing to work towards this qualification. You’ll have relevant experience of working within Health and Social Care and a strong awareness of current developments in the field and be able to combine this with an ability to inspire others.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have specialisms in any of the following areas: Adult Nursing, Midwifery and Mental Health.

About Sandwell College

Sandwell College is a great place to work; a large, successful and growing College that has achieved significant success over recent years and has further, big ambitions for its future.

 It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.  

The majority of the College’s full-time students are aged 16-18, studying courses designed to give them skills for the modern workplace in a learning environment fully equipped with a specialist automotive centre, beauty and hairdressing salons, computer suites, construction workshops, engineering and science laboratories, fashion and photography studios, a sports hall and a 170-seater theatre.
