We are seeking applications for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and supportive Library Assistant. You will assist the Head of Learning Resources in the delivery of a high standard of education and an effective working environment for our students.  

The successful candidate will enjoy working with people, particularly students and should be able to share enthusiasm for encouraging reading for pleasure and promoting whole school literacy.  

You will require strong communication and organisational skills and should have an interest and aptitude for developing new IT skills. Building a good raport with students and liaising confidently with teachers to assist in the smooth running of the school library is an important part of the role.  

The Library´s main aim is to foster a reading and information culture that will help all of our students to become independent, motivated readers and life-long learners.
