The Role

We are seeking to appoint an dynamic and inspirational  Maths teacher to join our STEM faculty.  The applicant will need have a commitment to providing an outstanding provision and possess excellent subject and National Curriculum knowledge. 

The successful candidate will be someone with a commitment to King Solomon International Business School (King Solomon) ethos and value, have a willingness to work and the flexibility to support the achievement of all students.  

What we are looking for

It is essential that the candidate demonstrates that they have the students’ wellbeing at the forefront of all that they do. The candidate will be expected to promote and practise safeguarding in relation to the welfare of the children they come into contact with and therefore an extensive knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures and legislation is essential. 

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who will: 

• maintain exceptional classroom practice

• work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues

• be keen to help develop a STEM Faculty from the ground up

• teach across KS3 and KS4 as a minimum

• give  constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally,  provide summative and formative assessment and guide progress through marking and feedback

• communicate  effectively with parents throughout the year

• assist  in extra-curricular activities

• plan, deliver  and mark outstanding lessons

• share best practice  throughout the school.
