Morning Assistant

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join an exceptional team of happy staff in this warm and vibrant independent school.  We are seeking staff to work either a morning, or an afternoon shift, assisting in either the Acorns Kindergarten (ages 2-4), or in the main school (ages 4-11).    The role will include caring for children in wraparound care in the Howe Green House Before and After School clubs, supporting children in the classroom environment, and supervisory duties at lunchtimes.  

Times on offer  Morning Assistant – 7:30am – 1:15pm  Afternoon Assistant – 12:00pm – 5:45pm   A minimum qualification in childcare to Level 2 is required for working with pre-school age children and Level 3 to manage After School Care.  Candidates without formal qualifications for the roles in the main school will be considered – but a willingness to train and acquire qualifications is essential.
