Multi-Instrumental Music Teacher St Peter Claver College is a co-educational, inclusive Catholic school located in Riverview. With a college motto of ‘Concern, Love and Justice’ students are encouraged to explore and develop their faith through the College curriculum and co-curricular activities. The college is seeking a dedicated, experienced Multi-Instrumental teacher to commence teaching in January, 2019. Currently there is 1 day of teaching available, however this could potentially increase as the program develops. The successful candidate will be required to teach individual and group lessons to students from Year 7 to 12. The successful applicant will need to have relevant qualifications and/ or experience in Woodwind and Brass. Additionally, applicants should have experience in directing large and small ensembles. Applicants are required to hold or obtain a Blue Card and must qualify to work in Australia. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Music Teachers Association of Queensland tuition rates. Essential Criteria • Qualifications and experience in teaching Brass and Woodwind. • Experience in directing large and small ensembles such as Concert Band. • Willingness to contribute to the College’s developing Co-Curricular program. • Commitment to the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College.
