Kings’ School Dubai welcomes applications for an outstanding Primary PE Teacher to join our thriving school from August 2023. In addition, applicants must have a proven track record of providing exciting and purposeful learning opportunities, where students achieve and make sustained progress, aligned to our ‘best by every child’ ethos.

Working in Dubai is a fast-paced and rewarding experience, however, it is a demanding and rigorous working environment which requires committed and motivated professionals. As such, we seek teachers who understand that their role extends far beyond the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding PE Teacher with exceptional subject knowledge (in addition, qualified and experienced in teaching swimming preferable)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent  
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of teaching the British Curriculum
  • Experience of teaching across Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two
  • Enthusiasm for both Physical Education and school sport
  • Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record/ability to deliver results 
  • Ability to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department
  • Innovative, creative, enthusiastic and collaborative practitioner  
  • Ability to manage a wide range of teams for clubs and fixtures
  • Experience of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures  
  • A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care  
  • Able and willing to make a broader contribution to school life  
  • Experience of working overseas or with international students would be an advantage.
