P-6 Classroom Music Teacher - 1 day per week - Unity College - Caloundra West

 

The successful applicant will:

 

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We require a P-6 Classroom Music teacher for 1 day per week on a fixed term contract until 4 December 2018. This position requires a qualified Music teacher with the ability to: foster and develop music education; work collaboratively and productively with colleagues; provide a challenging, student centred approach to learning; possess the ability to use technologies effectively in the teaching/learning programs; possess the ability to support choral and instrumental programs; and have the ability to incorporate various music pedagogies such as Kodaly and Orff Schulwerk.


Unity College is a P-12 Ecumenical College, in the Catholic and Uniting Church traditions, based in Caloundra.
