Smart Teachers is recruiting for a part-time Year 1 Teacher to join a ‘Good’ two-form entry primary school in West London. The school is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join their highly successful KS1 team. The successful candidate will job share for three days per week (days negotiable) and work closely with the Assistant Headteacher. The successful part-time Year 1 Teacher will be joining a close-knit school with a community feel.

About the Role

  • Part-time Year 1 Teacher to lead a class 3 days per week (days are negotiable) 
  • Suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers 
  • Will be engaging in a job share with the Assistant Headteacher
  • Competitive daily rate from £110 per day

  • Last Ofsted resulted in a grading of ‘Good’ in all areas
  • Established and supportive leadership with excellent CPD opportunities throughout the academic year
  • Has a strong affiliation with sport with several successful teams

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor degree, PGCE or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum within the past two years (essential)
  • Teachers with UK or overseas experience are welcome to apply; if overseas trained, teachers must have taught in schools where English is a first language
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
