Salary: £24,254 per year. Hours: 8.15am to 5.00pm daily

Full time, term time only (40 weeks). Fixed term initially until 31st July 2023 (Permanent position upon satisfactory probation).

The Role

As a PE Teacher you will be knowledgeable, energetic, and able to lead a class in PE. You will be able to keep students motivated, engaged and willing to stay fit and activity throughout their PE lessons. The successful candidate will be able to engage, motivate and act as a role model, with an emphasis on engaging and increasing the participation and enthusiasm of girls. The perfect candidate for this position will have experience in a similar role working within a school setting, or has done sports coaching for children in the past. They will be confident to teach a range of sports to children aged from  4 -11. You will be expected to run after school clubs between 3.45 and 4.45pm daily.  You will sometimes need to be available before school to prepare sports teams for specific competitions.

The successful candidate will be start ASAP on a fixed term, full time, contracted basis.

Coldfall Primary school is 3 form entry Primary School rated outstanding by OFSTED and has a long track record of sustained excellence in PE including competitive success at local, borough and national level. In addition, over 90% of children will have represented the school in competition by the time they finish year 6.
