Band 1 (£18,333 to £18,887 pro rata)

(actual salary: £16,085)

Term time plus 2 weeks (i.e. 40 weeks)

We are looking to appoint a PE Technician to provide support to teaching staff within our PE department with the day to day running of lessons and PE activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in physical activity/sport and a qualification in coaching would be advantageous. 


GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths is essential for this post.


Promoting self-esteem, encouraging pupils to act independently and supporting academic and personal development are all vital to this role.


Successful candidates will need to have high expectations of all pupils’ attainment and behaviour, and be willing to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life.


If you are someone with enthusiasm and determination to get the best out of each pupil, this role is for you.


Candidates must be available to work 8.15 am to 4.00 pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break).  Some flexibility will be required.
