An exciting opportunity has arisen for a school sports apprentice to assist in the delivery of school PE lessons and extra-curricular activities. This position will be available in September.

The Apprentice’s Role

The successful candidates will support pupils in classroom lessons and on a one-to-one basis as required. This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people by developing sports participation and positive experiences within a school environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation which has unique progression opportunities within the education sector and currently participates in the Schools Direct programme. Formal training will be provided to support development and progression opportunities of the successful candidate.

The role will be varied but duties will include a

ssisting PE Teaching Staff in sports lessons and inspiring pupils through fun sports-based activities during lunchtimes, breaks and after school. You will also be involved in setting up local competitions and games for various sports and school groups, along with additional administrative duties. A degree of flexibility will be required to fulfil this role.
