We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Politics and Sociology for Easter 2019.  Teaching will be almost exclusively in the 6th Form and will suit candidates with an established or growing track record of success at A level and GCSE.  The ability to offer Psychology would be an advantage.  

Lammas is a school of 750 students in Leyton, close to the Olympic park in Stratford.  

We have recently become a member of the Griffin Schools Trust and are now part of a family of 13 schools, (10 primary and 3 secondary) located in the Midlands and the South East of England.  The Trust places a strong emphasis on a broad curriculum especially in the arts and sport.

In May 2017 OFSTED judged us as a ‘Good’ school and confirmed we are continuing our journey to becoming outstanding.

About the Griffin Schools Trust

The Griffin Schools Trust (GST) is a family of ten primary and two secondary schools in the Midlands, London and South East. We have a strong track record in making schools much better for children and their families and for the staff who work with us. Our single most important mission is to provide the conditions in which children discover who they are and then go on confidently to take their places in society, making a contribution to the world through the use of their talents.
