We are at an exciting stage of our development, with our school having recently extended our excellent provision up to GCSE at Year 11. We are looking for someone to join us, who is willing to contribute and adapt to our changing and developing school. 

We are seeking to employ a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who is willing to teach all three Sciences to pupils in Key Stage 2 & Key Stage 3 with the ability to teach all three sciences up to year 8.

The position would appeal equally to a new qualified teacher or an experienced professional seeking a new challenge. Our teachers set high standards of themselves and their pupils. If you are dedicated and energetic we offer a delightful working environment. Our fully resourced science laboratories and extensive outdoor facilities support a varied and exciting curriculum. The Department 

Science is an energetic and growing department led by the Head of Science. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for all the sciences and be well placed to generate and sustain a high degree of motivation in all pupils. Science has a high profile in the school and investigative work forms a large proportion of lessons.

Biology, Physics, and Chemistry are the core subjects and teaching will take place in a one of three well- resourced laboratories. 

A willingness to play a full part in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of our happy and vibrant school is essential. Holme Grange has its own salary scale. The salary depends on age and experience.

Candidates will be invited to attend an interview at the School and to meet the Head and Deputy Head as well as the Head of Science. Candidates will be asked to teach a lesson as part of the selection process.
