Amity International School is a fast-growing successful and ambitious school set in a modern 15 acre campus on the coast of Abu Dhabi. Founded in 2015, the school has a total population of over 1,200 pupils and will eventually cater for the full age range from 3 to 18 years.  

The Secondary School, which opened in September 2017, will be have classes running up to Year 10 from September 2019 offering a range of subjects at GCSE. 

The Amity Education Group, to which the school belongs, was established more than 20 years ago. The group has an enrolment of c.100,000 students, 17 top-ranked schools and pre-schools, several universities with campuses in Dubai, India, London, Singapore, Mauritius, China and Romania, all offering globally benchmarked education from nursery to Ph.D. level.

You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to inspire pupils and communicate knowledge with enthusiasm and a commitment to the highest of academic and pastoral standards.  You must also be genuinely prepared and excited to take roles in the wider life of the school, with the ability, skills and experience to take part in the School’s pastoral and co-curricular activities. 

For this role, you should have:

- A bachelor's degree in a related subject

- A qualification in teaching (e.g. PGCE or Bachelor's in Education) for the specialism and age range

- At least one year of teaching experience
