Transforming Lives, Transforming Communities

It’s rare that a career move presents the opportunity to bring your professional influence to bear and create a legacy of high quality teaching and learning. This is just such a role.

Bronte Girls’ Academy is a new 11-16 Free School opening in Bradford in September 2019, part of Feversham Education Trust. The school will take on 120 pupils each year until it reaches its full capacity of 600 in 2024. The Chief Executive and Board of Trustees are looking for a highly capable and ambitious Principal Designate to lead the school through this formative time and set the expectations and establish the management style that will be the foundation of a high performing establishment.

We expect that our new Principal will already be a proven school leader, with a track record of inspiring successful teaching and learning, and who is passionate about the Feversham ethos of high expectations and inclusivity. You’ll need to bring real drive and commitment to the role, with the resilience and tenacity to ensure things happen at pace, and a real appetite for innovation and creativity that deliver practical outcomes. You’ll have the professional credibility to win confidence quickly with staff and with colleagues across the Trust, and this will enable you to create a culture of challenge and support amongst senior leaders that is essential to creating a culture of excellence – for both staff and pupils.

All of this is set within a Trust that has clear and ambitious plans for growth and a resolve to transform the lives and communities of those we serve. You’ll report into a forward-thinking Chief Executive who has a proven track record of establishing outstanding schools and teams, and be part of a talented, dynamic, and committed body of staff. Considered alongside a supportive Board of Trustees and an excellent CPD programme, it all adds up to a career opportunity not to be missed.
