Values and Vision

Presbyterian Ladies’ College’s mantra is: ‘Labore Et Honore.’ This translates to: ‘Work and With Honour.’ The purpose of the establishment is to provide an outstanding education for everyone who attends the school. Students learn from a balanced and enriching curriculum. The aim is for them to become life-long learners. They are challenged in lessons and are taught to overcome them. The school teaches a wide range of subjects. This includes philosophy, English, religious education, maths, humanities, arts and science. The student can also learn a second language of their choice. The school believes every girl should feel like they can achieve anything they wish to do. They are treated as equals and are taught that discrimination in the world is wrong. The children will hopefully develop a passion for the academic lifestyle and want to be curious learners for the rest of their lives.
