School improvement will be central to your remit. It’s essential that you can bring the leadership skills and performance focus that will deliver sustainable improvement at pace. You’ll be working with a talented staff group who are passionate about giving students every opportunity to reach their full potential. And having recently recruited new specialist teachers in both English and Maths, you’ll have the opportunity to ensure that this additional expertise is effectively deployed. There is a strong appetite for innovation and change within the school – it’s a place where you can see creative thinking translated into practical outcomes to support more dynamic and diverse curriculum opportunities.  

We expect that you will already be an experienced school leader (Head or Deputy Head) and that you can demonstrate a track record in delivering school improvement and maintaining a clear sense of purpose and momentum. You should be someone who welcomes professional challenge and rigour, with a commitment to shared accountability for outcomes and a collaborative working style.
