As Principal, you will serve on the Senior Leadership Team of BSS. Reporting to the Deputy Head of School, you will lead a high-performing team of six direct reports responsible for academic administration, curriculum, student life, student services, boarding and operations for a Senior School of close to 500 students. Working collaboratively to implement BSS’s strategic directions, you will ensure that the principles of the Culture of Powerful Learning and the Signature of a BSS Girl are promoted across the Senior School. In particular, you will foster learning, teaching, and well-being, informed by leading edge practices and research in education, for girls and young women.
An innovative teacher, accomplished administrator, and inspirational leader, you are passionate and knowledgeable about girls’ education, inquiry-based learning, reflective practice and leadership training in a senior school environment. A qualified teacher with a graduate degree, you are curious, creative, and collaborative, and are excited about developments in neuroscience, pedagogy, and leadership. You are a positive, motivating team leader and mentor, who has an excellent rapport with young people.
